Happy Jack Smoking Club — Brand Identity
Cannabis Brand | Designer + Illustrator
Happy Jack Smoking Club set out to bring art and ritual back into cannabis culture—ditching the sterile, corporate aesthetic in favor of something bold, expressive, and deeply personal. Jack, the founder, came to us with a hand-drawn sketch and a vision: to turn it into a full-fledged lifestyle brand inspired by art, rebellion, and rock ‘n’ roll.
The goal was to create a visual identity that could live across everything—from tiny product labels to oversized merch, a dynamic website, and social content. I digitized and expanded Jack’s original drawing, building out a flexible system of logos and illustrations that reflected his creative spirit.
To capture the brand’s psychedelic-meets-spiritual tone, I pulled influence from 1960s Art Nouveau posters and infused the palette with vibrant, frog-inspired colors—at Jack’s request. The result was a richly layered identity that felt handcrafted, high energy, and unmistakably Jack.
Through custom type, evolving logo marks, and expressive packaging, Happy Jack Smoking Club became more than a brand—it became a statement. Equal parts art and attitude, and built to evolve right alongside its founder.
